ChunkMapsseed tools

📱 Bedrock Edition

Bedrock structure finder

Find villages, ancient cities, monuments and more in your Bedrock world. Uses Bedrock's own structure placement — computed locally, with honest accuracy labelling.

Bedrock structures — approximate. Placement uses Bedrock's own seed formula and MT19937 RNG, validated against an independent open-source reference. Some positions can be off by a chunk, and terrain can block a structure — verify in-game.

Structures

    Bedrock structure pages

Each structure lives on one page with a Java/Bedrock switch at the top.

    How Bedrock differs from Java

Since 1.18, Bedrock and Java generate the same terrain and biomes from a seed — so our biome and seed maps already apply to Bedrock. What differs is structure placement, ore distribution and decoration.

Bedrock places structures with a different algorithm: a 32-bit Mersenne-Twister (MT19937) random generator and its own region salts and spacing. We implement that directly, rather than pretending the Java results apply.

Honest limits. Every credible Bedrock tool admits its structure positions are not perfect. Some can be off by a chunk, and terrain can prevent a structure from generating. We label ours approximate for that reason.

    FAQ

Does this work for Bedrock Edition?

Yes. Structure placement uses Bedrock’s own seed formula and MT19937 random generator, not the Java engine used elsewhere on this site.

How accurate is the Bedrock structure finder?

It is approximate. The placement math is validated against an independent open-source reference, but some positions can be off by a chunk and terrain can block a structure. Verify important finds in-game.

Why are Bedrock biomes not shown separately?

Since 1.18, Bedrock and Java share terrain and biome generation. Biome maps on this site already use that shared terrain. Structure placement is what differs, and that is what this tool computes.

    Which Bedrock versions are supported?

Bedrock 1.18 through 26.50+. Older versions use different worldgen.
